The latest project has now been completed. Mickey Moo Fry and his team from All Seasons Garden Services have now laid gravel on both the central reservations running from the Commercial Centre to Calle Madrid. They look much cleaner and tidier now and a big thank you to all involved.
Over 40 people travelled to Alicante for the day trip organized by Pat Seely and Lorna Ashley on 5th April and it was a great success as usual. These two ladies work so hard to get these trips to work and their hard work is much appreciated. They have 2 trips planned for later on in the year and details will follow closer to the time.
Lots of people have remarked on the amount of weeds on Camposol A. The heavy rains a few months ago have carpeted the campo with a beautiful array of colour, but unfortunately they have left us with a legacy of weeds. With bodies scarce on the ground, we are doing our best to address this issue and slowly but surely we are making inroads. There was an initial spraying about 6 weeks ago which killed off some weeds, but over the last few weeks we have had to re-spray and we will continue until completion. It would be a great help if anyone who is fit enough, could spray or pull any weeds growing outside their property.
Finally, a big 'thank you' for all your donations and all our hardworking volunteers, both of which help keep Camposol A looking spick and span.
