JJ's Puppy Rescue Association June 2017

Last month we rehomed 5 dogs to their new owners locally so we would like to thank those families who kindly gave these dogs a loving home.

jjs Freya 5No dogs were transported to our affiliated German Rescue Association last month, but 5 dogs have been reserved by them and taken out of the Mazarrón Perrera to our Boarding Kennels for transporting sometime this month. However, 3 dogs we rescued from the Perrera were transported to another German Association for rehoming. We also managed to rescue from the Perrera a Staffordshire Terrier and a Pit-Bull Terrier which were sent to new homes in Sweden and 4 Dogs went to their new owners in the UK.

jjs Holly 5This was made possible by the continued effort of our 'Helping The Perrera Dogs Group' and Volunteers who give their time to socialise and care for all the dogs that unfortunately find themselves in the local Perrera. The Fund Raising that they do includes the popular Table Top Stall in the Camposol A Car Park on Thursday Market Days which provides much needed funds to help these abandoned dogs. Please come along to support their efforts and maybe find yourself a bargain.

The Mazarrón Perrera is situated opposite Mazarrón Country Club on the motorway from Camposol to Mazarrón. If you feel you would like to come along and help to walk and socialise the dogs to prepare them for their new homes please call Tony on 618 034 921 or come and have a chat to the Volunteers at the Table Top Stall on Thursdays.

Our Charity Shop in Puerto de Mazarrón is always in need of donations of furniture, bric-a-brac, toys, clothes or anything that would be considered saleable to raise the funds to keep on re-homing the rescued dogs. We always need more Volunteers in our Charity Shop, so if you would like to join our team, please call Cathy on 639 604 628.

It takes a degree of effort and money to realize this worthwhile cause and we continue to thank all our Volunteers and Supporters who give us their time and effort.
