The only monthly Outside Dance we held this year, was on the evening of Monday 20 July, at Mariano’s, Camposol, where 220 people were entertained by the always popular Stu and Martin (The Beagles) and the delightful Emma B.
The Beagles soon had the dance floor packed with great dance music, plus Stu with his amazing saxophone version of Baker Street. The Beagles will be back with us to provide part of the entertainment for New Year’s Eve. Emma B, who is working alongside Kay C in Benidorm five nights a week, was making her first solo appearance with us and she did a great job. Thanks Emma for giving up your night to come down and provide part of the entertainment for this night. Emma will be back with Kay C with their tribute show on 29 September. Terry providing disco sounds in between made up the evening of great entertainment.

Everyone who supports the Book/Jigsaw Swap will be delighted to know that this popular morning starts again following a short summer break on Tuesday 8 September from 10-12 noon.

Fun Monthly Petanca reverts back to 1pm from September 30 and takes place on the last Wednesday of every month. This is open to members or non-members. There is a Members Only Competition taking place on 21 October and tickets are now on sale at 7€ to include food. For full information on petanca please contact Les on 968 131 880.

We have a busy meeting ticket sales wise on Saturday 5 September, when they will go on sale for the Cabaret/Dance Night on Monday 16 November, when we will be welcoming one of the funniest comedians appearing in Benidorm at the present time; the sensational Rikki Stevens & Fred. This is an act not to be missed. Also on the night will be a new act for the Welcome Group; a lovely guy by the name of Glenroy Oakley who covers Motown, Soul and much more. Completing a night of first class entertainment we will be welcoming back the popular Maria O´Hara who was such a hit when she was with us earlier in the year. Tickets are 10€ with an option of a light supper for 5€ extra.

Tickets also go on sale for our second popular Race Night of the year on 11 November, when proceeds will be donated to MABS (Cancer Support Group). This takes place in the Salidillo Bar, Camposol A; 2€ entrance, purchased in advance.

Tickets will also go on sale for the New Year’s Eve Party Night; 25€ each, which includes food, party bags, champagne & grapes at mid-night, plus a night of first class entertainment. A coach will be provided at an additional cost and will pick up from Puerto de Mazarrón, Country Club and Camposol D, C & B.

Tickets on sale at time of going to press (15/08) are for Petanca Competition on 21 Oct. Only a few tickets left for 29 September Dance/Cabaret Night & 27 October Dance/Cabaret Night where we will be welcoming back after 2 years, the very funny Jimmy Cricket, plus great dance music with Lucinda.
