Liquid Nitrogen Leak from Molina de Segura Industrial Estate
Firefighters managed to avert a catastrophe in Molina de Segura when they stemmed a leak from a liquid nitrogen Factory on the Molina de Segua Industrial Estate on 15th August. Liquid nitrogen is used in 'legal high' drugs such as those used to eradicate verrucas.
A definition of fly-tipping is the illegal dumping of waste onto land that does not have an environmental permit. It includes but is not limited to, general household waste, white goods, mattresses, garden refuse and commercial waste such as builders' rubble, clinical waste and tyres.
On Wednesday both boats left Portinatx; Ganty for San Antonio; us on Lotti for Cala San Vincente. We had a great sail downwind jibing at up to 7 knots to Punta Grossa where the wind veered and increased, so we checked the forecast and decided to continue on the Cala Boix, a safer anchorage in the forecast conditions.
