Mazarrón Town Hall was in attendance at the Murcia Turistica Stand at London's World Travel Market (WTM) Fair. The aim of the Council was to achieve the greatest possible number of contacts to achieve a greater presence in the UK market for the promotion of Mazarrón.

Mazarrón Town Council and the Association of Parents of Children with mental disabilities in Mazarrón (ASPADEM) have signed a collaboration agreement for activities related to the maintenance of the pool that the Association has in the neighborhood of La Cañadica. The Social Centre for the Elderly of Puerto de Mazarrón is celebrated its twentieth anniversary during November with an extensive programme of leisure activities and initiatives. Among the activities was the inauguration of the exhibition "Ruta del Vino de la Región de Murcia".
Mazarrón Town Council recently destroyed various trade items seized by the local police in Mazarrón in the fight against illegal sale and trade. Items seized and destroyed were of various kinds such as shirts, polos, pants, underwear, perfume, sunglasses, belts, watches, and CDs among others.
The beginning of November in Santa Pola (Alicante) saw the Campeonato de España de pesca Mar-Costa (Fishing Championship of Spain, Mar-Costa) for U-16 y U-21 categories which was attended by two athletes from del Club de Pesca Puerto de Mazarrón (Puerto de Mazarrón Fishing Club), one in each category, and achieving outstanding performances, resulting in two medals.
On Saturday 24 November was the traditional Concert of Santa Cecilia by the Band "Maestro Eugenio Calderon." About two hundred people attended the new Casa de la Cultura in Mazarrón to enjoy the concert and to welcome new musicians to the band. The concert began with the pasodoble "L'entra de la Murta", a fantastic composition by the great Valencian Master, Salvador Giner, followed by "Where the Black Hawk Soars" by Robert W. Smith, a work that begins with a majestic fanfare giving way to a rising melody that recalls the flight of the hawk.
At the beginning of December a presentation was made at the Plenary Hall of the Town Hall's of a book by Dr José Albaladejo Mendez titled "Cuaderno de Emociones". The book launch was chaired by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, who was accompanied by the author, as well as the editor of the publication, Eva Marquez, the researcher in Ethnology and Traditions, Jose Sanchez, and librarian, Ramona Sanchez.
Mazarrón celebrated the "Dia del Milagro" in the middle of last month to traditionally commemorate the intercession of the Purísima Concepción on November 17, 1585 when, as reflected in various reports and records of eyewitnesses, the Virgin saved the people from intended looting from a group of pirates. On Sunday 25 November, the Department of Equality of Mazarrón Town Hall closed the commemoration of the "International Day Against Gender Violence" with a walking route in which fifty people participated, touring the area on foot in Bolnuevo. The march was attended by the Councillor for Equality, Maria Martinez, and all members of the Speciality Care Centre for Women Victims of Domestic Violence (CAVI).
The Youth Council of the City of Mazarrón has designed a leisure activity programme for the first time for young people in the municipality of Mazarrón, ie for those between the ages of 14 and 35.
